The second release of the Our Waters, Our Towns series has been recently released by the Local Government Advisory Committee. This release, titled “Our Waters, Our Towns: Counties & Cities Develop Effective Watershed Programs”, contains six examples of watershed improvement projects by local governments that have helped clean local waters in communities around the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.
The Local Government Advisory Committee encourages local government officials to use the report to spur ideas and discussion about ways local communities can address local water quality issues raised in Phase II of the Watershed Implementation Plans.
