September 30, 2019
Luck Companies newly released Impact Report highlights their vision to positively impact the people and communities they serve and their dedication to improving the environment.
Based in Virginia, Luck is the nation’s largest family owned and operated producer of crushed stone, sand and gravel. Luck Ecosystems, one of Luck’s business units, produces a variety of high-quality environmental performance products that filter storm water, protect the land and shore, support plant growth and optimize playing field surfaces.
“Luck Ecosystems’ RainScape Stormwater Management family of products ensures a healthier environment with engineered materials that keep waterways naturally pollutant-free, restore stream beds and promote the protection of shorelines.” – 2019 Impact Report
In addition to their eco-friendly products, Luck Companies offers grants to a variety of environmental nonprofits including the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay.
“Sales for our streamed restoration products increased 67% last year. Doing the right thing for the Chesapeake Bay watershed is good for business and it’s also the right thing to do – for the environment, for our customers and for our communities.” – Larry Estep, Strategic Account Manager, Luck Ecosystems
