About a year ago our DC Green Infrastructure Project Associate, Jordan Gochenaur with help from our Green Infrastructure Projects Manager, Laura Todd – started the “Native Plant Narrative.” In these videos, Jordan shares his knowledge of native plants, helps with identification, and provides some insight into the benefits of planting native plants in your garden.
One of those benefits is attracting pollinators. As we celebrate #nationalpollinatorweek, we wanted to take a look back at a view of our favorite Native Plant Narratives:
Coneflower Power:
In this video, Jordan talks about the Coneflower, a flower beloved by many pollinators.

In this video, Jordan meets up with Beth Ginter, Executive Director of the Chesapeake Conservation Landscaping Council. Beth shares her knowledge of native plant landscaping offers help with her handy identification cards.
