February 3, 2025
The Alliance is excited to be a potential Host Organization for the 2025-26 Chesapeake Conservation and Climate Corps with the Chesapeake Bay Trust!
The Chesapeake Conservation and Climate Corps (CCCC) is a one-year term of stipend-supported service, starting each August, that places young adults with nonprofit organizations or government agencies for a full-time, service experience in the environmental field. The Corps provides young professionals with leadership and professional development training, mentorship, and a support network of other young environmentalists. Positions offered by host organizations are in the fields of environmental restoration, community engagement, environmental education, climate change, sustainable agriculture, energy conservation, and forestry.
The Alliance strives to create opportunities for our Corps Members, and since 2018, has hosted four, all of whom have moved onto being full-time or part-time members of our team!
Rebecca Lauver, past Corps Member, who graduated to a full-time position with the Alliance as a current Forests Projects Manager.
We greatly enjoy hosting Corps members and value the skills and enthusiasm they bring to Chesapeake Bay projects. Explore the Alliance’s CCCC opportunities below.
