RiverSmart Homes Rain Garden Training

Please join the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay and Washington, DC’s Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE) for a free rain garden installation training.

This is part 1 of a 2 part rain garden training. Both parts of this training will cover the basics of rain gardens, their environmental benefits, and how to install them. We will focus on the RiverSmart Homes Rain Garden Rebate Program, in which District residents can install a qualifying rain garden on their property and then apply for a rebate. This workshop is open to contractors interested in helping their clients participate in the rebate program.

Part 1 of this training is virtual and part 2 will be a field training held on Wednesday, July 20th, from 12:30-3:30pm. Part 2 of the training will only be available to participants of part 1. Please reach out to Jordan Gochenaur at jgochenaur@allianceforthebay.org with any questions.
