Our Maryland office has called 501 6th Street in the Eastport community of Annapolis home for the last 12 years. As our headquarters, the building has been a central gathering place for staff, Board, volunteers, community members, partners, and so many more.  

The pandemic showed us how effective and efficient remote work can be, and the Alliance has maintained a hybrid working policy as we’ve been unwinding from the pandemic. Our staff are spending their time out in the field, and working from home, leaving our building with only a core crew on a weekly basis. As we faced down the decision to renew our lease at the end of January 2023, we decided it was time for us to downsize and look for a new home.

We are so very excited to head to the other side of Annapolis, finding our new headquarters building at 151 West Street, in the up and coming Arts District. What’s even more exciting is that we’re co-habitating the new space in partnership with National Wildlife Federation/Choose Clean Water Coalition, who will be renting the other half of the office. This relationship enables the Alliance to lease modern and ADA accessible office space at an affordable price in conjunction with partner organizations.
