March 1st, 2024 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Join Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay and DC’s Department of Energy and the Environment for a permeable pavement installer course for all local landscape contractors in the D.C. Metro Area. The training will be held on Friday, March 1st from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at 1200 First Street NE, Washington, DC 20002 (Department of Energy & Environment offices). The course is aimed at contractors who are presently doing residential and/or commercial concrete pavement installations and wish to move into the permeable pavement market.  You may send more than one representative from your company.

The training will consist of a classroom session and a certification exam. The classroom session will be taught by a representative from the Concrete Masonry and Hardscapes Association and is intended to train experienced contractors about the differences of installing PICP vs. regular interlocking concrete pavement systems.  Additional information will include an introduction to the RiverSmart Homes programs and administrative requirements needed to become a RiverSmart Homes contractor.
