Project Clean Stream Kick Off – Washington, DC

Join the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay on Friday, April 4th for a Project Clean Stream kick-off event in Washington, DC! This season we will be cleaning up Oxon Cove Park, located at 6411 Oxon Hill Rd, from 10-12 PM.

  • What is provided: Gloves, trash bags, & some light snacks.
  • What to bring: A full water bottle, sturdy walking shoes (closed-toed preferred), long pants, sun protection, & bug spray.
  • Parking: There is a large parking lot at the park, just note, you will need to walk to the cleanup location.

Registered attendees will receive a confirmation email on the week of April 1st, including a few reminders for the event. Please note you will be asked to sign a volunteer waiver on-site. If you have any questions, please reach out to Savanna Lightcap at slightcap@allianceforthebay.org.
