The Alliance is participating in the Lancaster County Community Foundation’s Extraordinary Give for the fourth year in a row, and you’re invited to take part in the celebration with us!
You may be wondering, “Well, what is the Extraordinary Give?” The Extraordinary Give is a 24-hour online day of giving coordinated by the Lancaster County Community Foundation. This day is curated to bring awareness to the community benefit organizations that make the Lancaster community a vibrant place for us to live, work, and play.
How YOU Can Get In On the Action:
1. Support the Alliance from home! Help us restore the streams, forests, and other wildlife habitat throughout the Chesapeake Bay watershed by donating to the Alliance during the Extraordinary Give. Mark your calendars for November 20th and visit the Alliance’s Give Gab page to donate!
2. Become a Peer-to-Peer Fundraiser You can help duplicate the Alliance’s fundraising efforts during the Extraordinary Give by being a peer-to-peer fundraiser and championing our work in Pennsylvania! If you’re interested in learning more, please contact Jenna Mitchell at jmitchell@allianceforthebay.org.
3. Take part in our Fall Scavenger Quest! The Alliance will be running a Fall Scavenger Quest from November 1st- 20th, 2020. The activity includes two different levels with various different rainy- and sunny-day activities. Those that complete each level by November 20th will get prizes from local sponsors!
