Join the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay and DC’s Department of Energy and the Environment for a free virtual rain barrel training on Wednesday, September 29th from 12-1:30pm. This training is intended for those interested in becoming a participating contractor in the future for the RiverSmart Homes Program in Washington, DC.
Who is eligible to attend?
Everyone. You do not need previous experience in rain barrel installations to attend. More than one representative from your company can attend.
Is there a cost?
No, the training is free.
What will be covered in the training?
The virtual session will cover the design specifications for RiverSmart Homes rain barrels and administrative aspects, such as project review and invoicing. While the RiverSmart Homes Program is not accepting new contractors at this time, completing this virtual training will allow you to be added to the waitlist. Once the program is accepting new contractors again, we will pull from the waitlist and conduct field trainings, which is the second half of becoming a participating contractor.
