Symposium on Emerging Contaminants in the Chesapeake Bay

As partners across the Chesapeake Bay watershed work to strengthen and accelerate progress made towards restoration goals, understanding and addressing emerging contaminants will play an increasingly important role in these efforts. Join Morgan State University and the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay for a groundbreaking symposium highlighting cutting edge research, innovative solutions, and collaborative strategies to tackle these challenges.

What are Emerging Contaminants?

Contaminants of emerging concern are chemicals or toxins that have been found in
the environment, but are not currently regulated under environmental laws.
