Turning A New Leaf: Native Plant Identification & Illustration Workshop

Join curio. Gallery & Creative Supply and the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay for Turning a New Leaf: Native Plant Identification and Illustration on February 6, 2024 at 6:30 PM.

Participants will learn about tree identification techniques with a special focus on leaf identification and terminology. A large portion of the event will also focus on the artistic techniques used in botanical illustrations and the history of botanical illustration.

Participants will have time to practice drawing several native plant specimens that will be provided; please bring your own drawing supplies!
