Christina grew up in Virginia exploring the James River in her hometown of Richmond, while spending weekends at her grandparent’s home on the Chesapeake Bay. She received a degree in Public Health Education from James Madison University, and eventually her love for waterways led her to Virginia Commonwealth University where she received a Masters of Environmental Studies. Christina has worked for a number of conservation nonprofits in Richmond, always focused on projects that protect and restore the land and water that she loves.

Christina joined the Alliance in July 2019 and is the Senior Green Infrastructure Projects Manager. She focuses on working with communities to reduce their stormwater impact on the Bay.

In her spare time, you can find Christina outside; either in her garden, exploring Richmond’s James River Park System, or spending time with her family.
