Green Infrastructure Projects Coordinator
email
David was born and raised in the suburbs of Annapolis, Maryland. He spent his summers swimming, fishing, and crabbing in the South River when he was not exploring his local woods, swamps, and marshes. This inspired David to pursue a degree in environmental studies which he attained from Towson University in 2016.
Prior to joining the Green Infrastructure team at the Alliance, David worked for the Arundel Rivers Federation, where he worked to restore his hometown South, West, and Rhode rivers through projects ranging from small stormwater Best Management Practices to large-scale stream, wetland, and shoreline restoration. He also led the Federation’s fish monitoring program, which aimed to gain insight into the effects of restoration work on fish populations in local streams.
During his free time, David can be found fly fishing, hunting on Maryland’s eastern shore, or catching up on a long reading list.
