Erin grew up in Southeastern Virginia boating on the Lynnhaven and Nansemond Rivers. Her environmental understanding progressed while spending time cleaning marshes on the local waterways and the Eastern Shore. Her love for the environment was established at a young age thanks to strong influence from her family and community. She continued to work everyday with a healthier future in mind.

Erin is the DC Regional Director, advancing the Alliance’s programs, partnerships, and impact in the DC Metro Area. She also leads inclusive alignment at the Alliance, supporting staff and internal practices to address the needs of all community members in the Chesapeake Bay watershed.

Erin earned her Bachelors in Environmental and Sustainability Studies at George Mason University. Raised in both South America and Africa, her upbringing nurtured a curious and open-minded personality, fostering a mindset of cultural inclusion. As a queer latina, Erin finds joy in her DC community, art, soccer, and curling up with a good book.
