Jim Kauffman is a Forests Projects Coordinator in Pennsylvania. Jim will be working with farmers, producers, and landowners to promote and implement riparian buffers and reforestation projects throughout the Chesapeake Bay Watershed in Pennsylvania. Jim has spent a majority of his career delivering habitat and conservation programs to private landowners, and will use this experience to continue applying reforestation initiatives throughout Pennsylvania’s portion of the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
Jim has worked in both the public and private sector, for multiple state and federal wildlife management agencies, NGOs, and public universities. Jim brings a diverse background of experience and knowledge to the Alliance, and looks forward to contributing to efforts to restore the Bay.
In his spare time, Jim enjoys traveling, wildlife photography, hunting, fishing, trapping, cooking, gardening, and spending time at his family’s cabin.
