Jim Kauffman is a Forests Projects Manager that focuses on conservation planning throughout Pennsylvania’s portion of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. Jim works as part of the Pennsylvania Forest Team to promote and implement riparian buffers and reforestation projects, primarily within the agricultural landscape.
Jim has spent a majority of his career delivering habitat and conservation programs to private landowners, and is passionate about implementing conservation practices that improve conditions within local waterways and ultimately, the Chesapeake Bay.
In his spare time, Jim enjoys hunting, fishing, trapping, traveling, reading, cooking, gardening, and spending time at his cabin.
