Kayli is the Local Government Projects Associate at the Alliance.
A native of northern Virginia, Kayli grew up boating and crabbing on the Chesapeake Bay and assisting with community watershed restoration projects in the Accotink Creek Watershed. A Girl Scout from a young age, Kayli spent much of her time camping, hiking, and engaging in park clean-ups with her fellow scouts which sparked her passion for the environment and loveĀ of natural spaces.
Prior to joining the Alliance, Kayli worked at the National Wildlife Federation on the Conservation Policy team to mobilize conservation voters and place more environmental advocates in office at the state and federal levels.
Kayli holds a degree in Environmental Science: Social Sciences from the University of Mary Washington with a minor in Environmental Sustainability.
Outside of work, Kayli can be found cooking, rock climbing, kayaking on the Anacostia, and behind the pottery wheel crafting new pots for her ever-growing collection of houseplants.
